Stay active during Christmas break with the Houston Dutch Lions FC Open Training!
What is Open Training?
– At the Houston Dutch Lions FC we understand that practice makes perfect and staying active during breaks is massively important. Players are striving to continue to develop their game and skills over the break. Therefore, we offer the opportunity for kids from the age groups U7 to U16 to come out and enjoy a practice with other players and certified coaches.
What happens during Open Training?
– Open Training consist of technical exercises and scrimmages. The focus is on exercises that relate to the game, small sided exercises that consist mostly about technical drills. However, we understand kids want to play the game, so we also offer plenty of scrimmage time to let kids express their learning on the game.
Who can join?
– Anyone between the ages of 7 to 16. We are looking for players who want to stay active during break. We want to allow kids to have a training session with other players and scrimmage.
When is Open Training?
– Open Training is on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 6:45pm to 8:00pm. It takes place in the Houston Dutch Lions FC Soccer Facility located at 14562 I-45 South, Conroe, Texas 77384. Open training will not take place on 12/25/2018 & 1/1/2019, and will stop when regular Youth Academy practices return (1/14/2019).
How do I pay?
-You can pay online or in person at the club house. Cost is $15 per session, there is no commitment, so you pay per session. There are limited spots available, paying online will guarantee your spot. However, you can also show up and pay in person (cash or card).
