The Houston Dutch Lions FC is excited to announce registration for the 2017 edition of the Super Summer League to be open, players and teams interested in participating in this summer’s edition are encouraged to sign up below.
Players interested, please fill out the registration link (click here). The Coaching Staff will review all applicants, and a possible next step can be that the player is invited to a practice with a current Houston Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy team.
The fee to participate in the Super Summer League is $275 per player. Not included is the clothing fee ($60) which gives you a game shirts, game shorts, game socks and a practice shirt.
Available teams (co-ed) are U9/U10, U11/U12, U13/U14, U15/U16, U17/U18, U20 & U23 (all combined ages). All the aforementioned teams will train three times per week (at least 75 minutes per session) under the guidance of a Houston Dutch Lions FC Youth Academy Coach, or a Dutch Lions FC NPSL player (all student athletes who play/played at NCAA / NAIA colleges around the USA).
The Super Summer League also welcomes teams (U9/U10 till U23) to register for the 2017 season. If signed up, the Super Summer League will arrange at least eight games, all to be played at the Houston Dutch Lions FC Soccer Facility (two artificial turf fields with A/C regulated club house). If registered and paid by May 1st, the fee per team is $250. After May 1st, the fee per team will be $325. Per game, each team pays for 50% of the referee fee, which varies per age group.
The 2017 season starts on Monday, May 15th and ends July 8th. The Super Summer League will try to schedule all games either Saturday & Sunday morning, or Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening.
Games will be played in the following weekends:
May 20th – round 1
May 27th – round 2
June 3rd – round 3
June 10th – round 4
June 17th – round 5
June 24th – round 6
July 1st – round 7
July 8th – round 8; final weekend
